==Karakter Profiel Tohru is een grote, massieve man van Japanse afkomst een gewicht van ongeveer 480 vijver. Hoewel Hij Lijkt veel op de rol, is hij geen sumoworstelaar en Aanspraken te klein zijn om een. Zijn gewone jurk is een wit hemd en zwarte broek (op maat XXXL).

Tohru geniet druif soda en haat vis (een culturele Ironie, gezien het Feit DAT een van de Voornaamste Diëten Japan is VIS). Hij Lijkt ook een voorliefde voor katten, met de Monkey Talisman meerdere malen Gebruikt worden om vijanden te zetten bij kittens. Hij heeft een diepliggende angst van Oni vanwege frightening jeugd verhalen, maar het ENIGE wat Hij echt bang is zijn dominante moeder. Oorspronkelijk een van Handhavers , Hij is in eerste instantie nogal meedogenloos, maar nadat Hij vindt een nieuwe familie met de Chans, Hij neemt een meer timide en onveilige manier. Tohru was once the best enforcer for the Dark Hand and a personal servant for Valmont. He led Valmont's Enforcers during most of the talisman hunts on behalf of the dragon sorcerer Shendu. Despite his formidable size and strength, he proved to be no match for Jackie's martial arts skills and Jade's cunning. His string of defeats displeased Valmont so much that for the hunt for one of the last talismen (the Pig), he hired the then-freelancer Hak Foo to ensure success of the mission - a switch which Tohru greatly resented.

Eventually, Tohru changed sides when the Dark Hand succeeded in reviving Shendu, who then double-crossed Valmont. Forced to fight Shendu alone, Tohru was quickly defeated, and sent flying out the side of a building which he survived with moderate injuries. After providing Jackie and his friends with the decisive clue, namely Shendu's name, he turned himself in to Section 13's authorities. After a parole period, he became Uncle's apprentice in Chi sorcery and developed a close relationship with Jade. When Shendu possessed Valmont and intended to free his fellow demon sorcerers, Jade recruited him into the fledgling J-Team.

• Tohru weighs 480 pounds which he says is too small for a sumo but in fact the average Japanese sumo weigh 330 pounds.
• Most commonly used Talisman is the "MONKEY", which he uses to turn enemies into Kittens. He is also known to use the Rabbit Talisman too.
• Knows detailed and important information about "ONI" from childhood stories told by his mother. This information is vitally needed in season 4. He has a deep set fear of them and "GETS THE WILLIES" when one is near by.
