Enter the Cat is the forty-second episode of Jackie Chan Adventures.
Synopsis[]
Jackie finds a highly valued cat statue. Anyone who is scratched by it is magically transformed.
Forced to steal it back for a gangster when Jackie is tossed into a jail cell, Jade is able to retrieve the statue, but gets scratched by it in the process.
Uncle had been researching into the Cat’s legend, and says that the cure lies within. Jackie soon has an epiphany, and decides the Cat is too dangerous to be in a museum. So he smashes the statue, thus releasing a purple-colored vapor that cures Valmont and Jade. With that, Jackie then realizes that “The antidote lies within” meant that the antidote was inside the statue itself (and not within a person, despite what he thought at first).

Notable Quotes[]
Jade: (turns to Cardiff’s henchmen who are holding Jackie) You touch one hair on Jackie’s head, you’re going to have to answer to me. (leaves)
Cardiff Zendo: (chuckles, about Jade) Spunky.
Jade: (after knocking out Cardiff’s henchman) I think the words you are looking for are “Me. Ow”. Nobody messes with Jade, queen of the jungle cats! (hisses)
Jackie: Jade, you are not a jungle cat.
Jade: I know that, Jackie. Hello? Now I know I’ve gotta change back. So, how do we do it?
Jackie: Uhh...
Jade: What’d Uncle say?
Jackie: He said the antidote to the curse lies within.
Jade: Tch. Sounds like gibberish to me.
Jackie: He said that, too.
Jackie: (recalls what Uncle had said before realizing what he had really meant) The antidote lies within... within the statue itself!
